The Psychology Project
Why do people get angry? How does the brain work? What makes me think and feel the way that I do? These were questions that our students asked about the world around them and their own lives. To answer some of these questions, we collaboratively designed a project where students could explore these topics through conducting their own psychology experiments. Students conducted research and wrote literature reviews on their chosen psychology topics, designed and conducted psychology experiments and created book pages to share their findings. Our book, Psychology Through 104 Eyes, has sold almost 100 copies so far. We shared our work through an exhibition as well as sent copies to another middle school for students to learn about psychology and recreate some of our experiments.
